The instrument works with 9V batteries. After having switched On the unit, the readout  will be affectuated connecting the cables to the measuring instrumentation. It’s a nice solution in case of monitoring discontinuesly of the geotechnical and structural tools. Since it’s a portable instrument it’s stable.

It’s allow the user to verify the nice working and the detecting of variation of measurements with out the on site permanent installation. It should be used for many instrument in different worksite too. When the batteries’ll be discharged it’ll appear “:” on the LCD display between the decimals. Keep the faceplate of the manual reader cleen and dry. Don’t measure with the instrument’s connector wet. Calibrete OG180 every 2 years.
