In case of: measurements of groundwater level –automatic or manual readout- and interstitial pressure measurements; OTR suggests piezometric tubes.

They are made up by PVC and should be joined by sleeve or thread M/F. The tubes may be blind or micro-cracked. To them are associated Casagrande filters with two hooks of ½ inch or one hook of ½ inch and the other of 1inch and ½ .

How i sit installed?                   

Use a guide tube to reach the pose quote where will be left casagrande filter. Mount the tubes fixing the pieces with scotch tape or PVC glue to seal every joint san connecting them to the filtres. Gradually withdraw the guide tube, avoiding displacement of the newly installed cell and tubes by covering them with several layers of: sand, gravel and bentonite.
